We love it there. Great food with a very fair price.

Meat taste was strange. Did not taste like real meat.

Amazing food, friendly staff, drink look amazing, great prices for the amount of food you get. If you haven't all ready give this place a chance, you won't regret it.

From the fresh chips and salsa to the lunch entrees, the food was flavorful and delicious. Our waitress was attentive and very nice. When we are in Foley next time, we will be back!

The service here was at turtle speed. We had to wait for the drinks for about 10 minutes. The restrooms have no air conditioning and are not clean. The smell was suffocating and especially with the lack of air conditioning. The patio was 6 tables with metal chairs. No decorations at all. It had a very institutional look about it. The waitresses were all grouped up in front of the TV inside and would not move to let you pass. I felt very unwelcome. We finished our drinks and waited until the waitress finally arrived to take our order. By that time we no longer wanted to eat there as it took her too long. We were there about 45 minutes.

EVERY TIME we get a to go order, it is incorrect. This time we ordered door dash and did not get the correct items even though the receipt reflected the correct items. This is the first time we have called because for prior times, we just let it go. When called, the girl was very reluctant to offer a reimbursement but only "if you bring it up here with the receipt".. really? It was ordered as a door dash delivery for a reason. So, the rudeness with the habitually incorrect order has sealed the deal for this restaurant. No more. There are too many other good Mexican restaurants to deal with this every time.

UPDATE: WE WENT TO TOUCANS ON 9 MILE RD TODAY AND FOUND MOST OF OUR FAVORITE STAFF MEMBERS FROM THE ORIGINAL VALLARTAS WORKING THERE!!!!! Service and food were outstanding!!!!!My husband and i used to love this place, and ate there frequently. Now that they’ve grown they lost everything we loved about it. The cozy feeling is long gone. The service was TERRIBLE. The portions are smaller and the prices are higher. They lost us.

Got the combination b and it was more food then I could eat for only $9.99 It came with a chicken quesadilla, beef burrito, and chili stuffed pepper. The queso cheese was delicious. The salsa has a nice spicy tasty but not too spicy. The space is huge and can accommodate large parties. It was a Monday night and had live music. Will be back for sure 👍🏾👍🏾

Food was delicious. Additionally, they always have small margaritas buy one get one free. This is a much better deal than getting one large one. So, if you like your margaritas extra sweet, be sure to take up this deal. The live entertainment sounded good.However, despite having a great soundtrack, the musician was way too loud. And, he didn't interact with the people at all. Also, one of our guests had to wait 10 minutes beyond everyone else already having their food before the server brought his food. Also, they forgot to bring my husband's charro beans and we had to request them. So, the service and the overly-loud music is the reason I am giving this place only three stars instead of five. If we had been in a bar, the music would have been right on par. However, this is a restaurant and I enjoy talking to the people we are dining with.

Had dinner at the new Vallarta's and it was "great" as usual! I'll share pics in the comments. Service and food were great, as it's always been! We ordered what we've pretty much always ordered and it was just as I recall it being. Great flavor and PLENTY of it! Paid $57 for three adults....plus tip, of course! <3 Live music <3 provided by "Kenny and Christie"! The atmosphere is not as it was in the past....it's more up to date and roomy, more "Mexican-looking"! The manager? is still there and came around asking how the food was, as he always did before. We gave him 2 thumbs up!!!We had NO complaints!Definitely recommend checking out this restaurant!

Always good food with matching service. The environment is pleasant and spirits are available if you'd like to have a drink while you're there. Easy to get in and out of.

Overall this is a very good Mexican restaurant. This is my family's go to place to eat. Very clean and staff are polite. I'd definitely recommend.

Its just an all around laid back good place to eat dinner. Food and the staff are great and very accommodating. We have been eating there for years and plan on many more. They have officially moved into their new building with a lot more space and larger bar so give them a shot, you wont be disappointed.

Stopped here for a quick, late lunch. The place was huge and the food was delivered quickly. The taste was good but not excellent.

Disgusting. This was without a doubt the worst attempt at Mexican food I've ever tasted. Their taco meat is beef stew- legit has carrots and potatoes in it. So so gross. Avoid!

They told me I couldn’t order ale carte items I had to make it dinners. Then the dinners didn’t come with the toppings. No lettuce tomato and sour cream on the enchiladas dinner. Everything was cold. Very disappointing! It’s been a year since I went there last because of how bad it was. Was hoping it changed, it didn’t!!

Just ordered $50 dollars worth of food, quesadillas had hardly any meat on them at all. Almost no cheese, ordered to bags of chips and salsa, I get a shot glass size of salsa just one! Chips are stale as can be. Called spoke with a manger he said there is nothing he can do. Said chips don’t come with salsa! “ I ordered chips and salsa!!” Also said nothing he can do about the food even though it was practically tortilla with no meat or cheese! Worst place ever to eat!!! Very poor customer service. Guess I’m just out of $50. Definitely will not be going back there. Also I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here! El Paso’s has always been a better choice.

This place is amazing! It’s my go to spot for margaritas. I was sad when Gabby left but there’s this new bartender with heart tattoos on her face. I don’t remember her name but she gives amazing customer service. I’m going to start coming more often because she’s very sweet and attentive. She makes amazing drinks and always makes sure I’m taken care of. If you go to vallartas, definitely sit at the bar and ask for her. I would go as far to say that she gives the best customer service that I’ve ever had. Seriously check it out!

I tried the shrimp cocktail and it was not what I expected but better. One of the largest Mexican restaurant's I've been to. Good food at a reasonable price.

Good food at a good price. The only issue I had was trying to flag down our waiter when we were ready to cash out. Other than that, the place was great and I'll definitely be going back!

Food is usually always good . But the price must have gone up since the move or something I’m not used to spending that much on the three of us especially at a Mexican restaurant. Was a little blind sided

If I could no star this I would the staff were extremely rude to one table near the entrance and I heard a waitress by the name of gabbi who yelled at them and cursed towards them This was unacceptable and could have been simply avoided.This place use to be a nice experience to come sit down and enjoy yourself but I most definitely will not be returning and giving my money to such people that work here.

I went there for lunch and the Fajita Steak burrito was amazing. I love the cheese sauce they put on it. It's pretty simple, but delicious. The place is large and has a cool atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely will keep going back.

Previous location next door was a solid 5. The design and decor are nice in the new location, but the food and service have changed. The salsa is not as good and the ground beef is now sweet.

A really nice place. I enjoyed the food. This is pretty authentic, very close to what I would have had in South Texas.if you enjoy real Mexican food you will enjoy this place. A good addition to Pensacola area. The prices are very reasonable also. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is due to some of the items on my plate not being hot enough temperature wise. Next time I go there if this is corrected I'll change my rating to five stars. I do recommend this place.

The food & service is amazing & it's nice big family style restaurant. Vallarta's is place is the real deal if you want classic Pensacola Mexican food! Lunch specials are about $9 bucks and will make your belly happy, and the staff is very friendly. I am craving their beef tacos again!
